Transmission down...from 4 speed to 5 speed

Just replaced my defective transmission with a good one (used) from an old 4 speed to a 5 speed. The 5 speed tranny comes from a Boxtype Mitsubishi lancer with a Saturn Engine.  Works fine but We did three adjustments because the 5 speed tranny is longer by about 2 inches, so we adjusted the Shift stick farther by 2  inches grind the hole to make way for the stick.  The propeller shaft was cut 1 inch shorter and rewelded and turned over a lathe machine.  Then the tranny support need to find new holes for the mounting...works fine now..
